Hi, Pat.According to my information, most of which comes from Ontario Birth, Marriage and Death Registrations, Mary Magdaline Couke was Andrew's only wife, hence all his children were also hers.I have no record of when and where she died, but I do have a record of Andrew's death (20 Feb 1920 in London). His first two children were born in Henrietta, Munroe County, N.Y. - Thomas Andrew in May 1877, and Mary Elizabeth abt. 1878.His next three were born in London, Ont. - William Henry on 22 May 1881, George Wesley on 26 Jan 1883, and Albert Edward on 02 Dec 1884.His last three were born in Galt - David on 28 May 1887, Charles Herbert on 04 Jan 1889, and Cecil Couke on 28 Jun 1890.Thomas died in London, Ont on 01 Jun 1881, and Charles in Galt on 13 Mar 1890.As both were very young when they died, you probably have not heard of them.George married, but I have no information on his wife; he seems to have moved to Trail, B.C., where he died on 14 Feb 1961, leaving two sons - Thomas George and David James. As for his brother, David, I have no record of his fate. It was very common in the mid-1800s to give one's child, as a second or third surname, the family name of a close friend.Since Isaac Jurckse (Yerex) and James Huffnail were both UELs, it is quite probable that their families were close and remained so, and thus that Isaac's son would give his son the second surname of Huffnail. I would very much appreciate any information you would be willing to share on your branch of the Yerex family. If I can be of further help, please ask.
