What you say may be true, that this is also your Jacob Yerger.Note that Sarah B. (Dellecker) Yerger died 41 years prior to Jacob and he would have had plenty of time to marry a second time to Mary Seasholtz.Do you have a wedding date for Mary and your Jacob?
The neighboring property to Jacob's farm belonging to Dr. William Herbst may also be a clue. We have a Herbst and Delleckers marriage as well.
Henry Sassaman Dellecker, nephew of Sarah B. Dellecker, 1st married a Sarah M. Renninger and married 2nd, on Mar 20, 1869, to Violetta (Maurer) Herbst (b.12-31-1828 d. 3-18-1902) widow of Captain George Herbst. Violetta was the daughter of Henry and Susan (Dotterer) Maurer. Violetta and Captain Herbst had one child, Dr. George Edwin Herbst (b. 9-10-1857 d. 2-1919).I believe these Herbsts were also from Pikeville.
BTW the name of the village was Pikeville, with no "s" as in Pikesville.Pikeville is still in existance.
