HOWARD PAUL YETTER, 79, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in Houston, Texas. Howard proudly served in country in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. Known to many as "Mr. Howard", he founded Howard Safe and Lock Company located in the Heights in 1946. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn Yetter; brothers, La Dell Yetter and wife, Kay, Harlan Yetter and wife, Joyce; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Howard is preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Yetter and sister, Geneva Elder. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10a.m. Friday, August 8, 2003 in the chapel of Rosewood Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Bower officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rittenhouse Baptist Church building fund in Howard's name, 513 W. Rittenhouse, Houston, TX 77091.
