One other point...The Yoes line(s) have married into the Reed line.
William Daly Reed married Sarah Alexander. They had many children.Three of the daughters were Sarah P., Abigail & Mary Ann.
Sarah P. Reed married Jacob "Red" Yoes January 17, 1850 in Washington CO., AR, the s/o Jacob b)abt. 1789.--See notes below.
Abigail Reed married John Enos Yoes 1844 WA CO AR,the s/o Jacob and b/o Jacob "Red" listed above.
Mary Ann Reedmarried Jacob E. Yoes, the s/o of 'your' Rev. Willima Conrad Yoes onJanuary 17, 1858 Washington CO., AR.
To add to the confusion...there is "that" marriage record of "a" Jacob Yoes to "a" Mary Yoes in 1850.Beleive that this is the marriage record of Jacob to Sarah P. Reed (Mary's sister) as all other records (census & birth date listed on marriage affadavit) seem to indicate this is the case.Seems the JP might have confused the sisters names.
So,if you are totally confused...I can relate. The point is that the families are related by marrieage (at least). I feel that they are also related by blood -thru their fathers.
