Michael- Thanks for the reply.I can see how the "blending" might happen.That is a hard task, to tie a family name to any individual with the first name Jundita.While I am like everyone, curious to know where my family name comes from, I am not sure it can ever be known.It is a bit sad that we don't (yet) know which Jundita is our anscestor, but "so ist es" (so is it).
We are talking about a time when written records were not as common in the first place, and that coupled with the centuries for any records to be lost or destroyed... it is a huge challenge.
I will keep up what I have been told - prove each generation and then move to the next.If that has to end with Andre in Neiderbron, so be it - that may be the best we can prove.(Do you have any anscestors before Hans Jorg?I have 3 generations but I can't attest to the other than that I found the info in the internet.)
