OK, this is what I have located in my files. If Alexander was Francis's brother and I believe he was then after they left NC they moved to Tenn.Francis to Rughteford and Alexander to Sumner Co., Tenn.Alexander had a son he named Francis. In 1850 Francis is in the Sumner Co., US Census. He gives information that he was born in 1774 in Ireland.
Our Francis of Rutherford Co., Tenn. is found in NC in 1781 providing a gun to the Colonial Army.
Thus in conclusion the Youree's arived in the US between the birth of the Sumner Co Youree in 1774 and before our Francis gave the gun to the army in 1781.
At least one of the brothers was or had been married before they arived in the United States.Whether Alexander's wife was still alive when they arived I do not know, I have not researched that possiblity. So the young children buried in Mecklenburg Co., NC, until I had proof that Francis was married before leaving Ireland, I would have to place as Alexander' children.
It would be realy great if we knew the ages of the children when they died.If they were new borns then the jury would be still out.If they were 5 or 10 years old then it would lean the possiblities towards Alexander.
