Continuing from my last post: In the 1830 Rutherford County Census we have: Francis age 40 to 50born 1780 to 1790 William age 40 to 50born1780 to 1790 Josephage 40 to 50born1780 to 1790 Jamesage 30 to 40born1790 to 1800 Andrewage 30 to 40born1790 to 1800
Frncis Sr has died the during the past ten years so the Farncis on the census is Jr.
The one child of Francis Youree Sr. who does not appear on any census did leave a will.He was David Youree. It was dated May 23, 1834.He was never married and probably lived with one of his brothers or his sister all of his life.He states, among other idems that he owned land along with his brother James that he purchased of his father's estate. He left his estate to his brother James. His wish was that his estate be divided between his four brothers and his nieces the children of his deceased sister Rebecca Ann Hamilton. The executors of his will were James and Joseph Youree, two of his brothers.
It is apparent that sence there were six sons of Frnacis Youree Sr., that of the writing of this will, one of these sons has past away before David as he only list four plus himself as five.I would speculate that the missing Youree would be William Hart who had probably died before David.
Thus Francis Youree and wife Isabella Hart Children are: 1Joseph 2Rebecca Ann 3Francis Jr. 4William Hart 5David 6.Andrew H. 7.James Francis
Hope this will be of some help.I have always thought it was pretty conclusive evidence. If I can be of additional help, please let me know. Sterling
