I have been doing a couple of family trees I started just before 9/11/2001. Unfortunately my interest diminished on the subject. I have been trying to find out more about my father's side of the family. My grandmother Victoria Thomas (Tomaszewski - my grandfather changed their name to Thomas), was born Victoria Zagorski, Dec. 11, 1889 in Manistee, Michigan. She moved with her father John Zagorski to Vulcan, Michigan when shortly after and spent a few years there. I don't know how many or exactly when. My grandmother had five children, one that died less than one year old. She resided in Detroit until about the mid 1940s when she moved with her son Edward Thomas, my late uncle,to Romeo, Michigan. She died in Romeo, Michigan June 20, 1976. Her dad John was born about March 1862 in Poland and died in May 2, 1933 in Freesoil, Michigan. Sibilings of Victoria were John, Jacob, and Thomas Zagorskis. That is all the information I have on them. I hope this information is of use to others here and maybe there is some information others could share.
