Adding a branch to the tree.
Native of Tunis (L'Aeroport), for the last 25 years in New York. Some family members in Israel, some in France and some in the US.I speak 8 languages fluently (French, Italian, English, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew and Chinese) plus some German and Japanese. Sometimes mistaken for a Greek (Zarkas connection). I find the name Zarka very interesting for its universality. Basically, we are from the Middle East but we have certainly spread a lot (Greece, Italy, the Balkans, Russia, the US, etc.). Be it Zarka, Al-Zarka, Zarko, Zarkow, Zarkowski, or Zarkover, we belong to at least three religions and so many different cultures. Would love to hear from distant relatives.
