I am following up with you in regards to a recent discovery on my Zeluff line. I had corresponded with many Zeluff decendants in the past and provided incorrect information on my ancestor Solomon....
Apparently there were two Solomon Zeluffs. I had my Solomon (married to Aaltje Merrill) as the son of Daniel Zeluff and Hannah Clark. However, I located Peter Zeluff’s will that mentions his son Solomon. Peter is the brother of Daniel and he was married to Marya Van Pelt. I believe that Daniel’s son Solomon is the one who married Elizabeth Taler (Taylor?). Peter is found in the 1790 census for Northfield, Staten Island and in the 1800 census just three away from my Solomon.
Located his will dated January 10, 1801:

Witnesses Peter Amerman?, Abadiah Jones, Paul Latourrette (interesting to note the double r), dated 10 Jan 1801 will of Peter Zeluf, Late of Northfield, Co. Richmond, Yeoman, ?
