Bertha Ziebell, age 17 and her sister Ella Ziebell, age 19, came to the United States as immigrants on the passenger ship SS Pennsylvania, sailing from Hamburg 11 March 1904, arriving at Port of New York at 27 March 1904. They listed last residence as Kiel, Germany and their ‘destination’ as Milwaukee, WI. Their ship passage was paid by Uncle William Ziebell, Milwaukee, WI.
Uncle William Ziebell's brother still back in Germany who sent his girls over was: Albert Carl Wilhelm ZIEBELL m. Auguste Wilhelmine Sophie Friedericke DAHN
Their children: Paul Willie Albert Robert ZIEBELL (b.17 Sept 1887-d.10 Mar 1954). Born in Gaarden, Kiel, Germany. Died in Schleswig, Germany. He left no issue. Bruno Max Albert ZIEBELL b.--d.13 Dec 1944 in air raid Hamburg, Germany. Left no issue Willie ZIEBELL (b.--d. WWI period 1914-1918). Left no issue Ella ZIEBELL (b. 27 March 1885-d.1 June 1965). She was born in Kiel, Germany. She died in Chicago, IL. Bertha Elfrieda Dora ZIEBELL (b.26 April 1886-d.18 Nov 1964). Born Gaarden, Kiel, Germany (Augusten Strasse 18). Died in Torrance, CA.
