There is an old saying,"first of all, know thyself." How does this relate to genealogy? Think about it, there is a part of your physical being that lives on through you from each of your ancestors; in order to really know "yourself" I feel you must also care about learning who your ancestors were.
Genealogy research takes time, persistance, a little luck, some help from people you meet while researching; and a little cash.
One thing I am short on in my search has been funds for the "pay for information" sites. So, I am limited to free and/or government websites; family interviews, and personal recollections of the immediate family -- parents' sibling(s), aunt, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and "great" relatives, too.
If you are curious, please read on...I will be updating this page, and the family tree information as new bits of data come my way. Enjoy!
