Notes for Zachariah Adams:
Zacariah died intestate in Pulaski County between 1820-25, having arrived there in about 1800. The inventory of his considerable personal estate being recorded in August 1825, with Jane Adams, (nee Counch, his second wife), she being a widow at the time of their marriage and somewhat advanced in years, his administratrix. Pulaski County was formed from Lincoln County in 1798. He had six or seven surviving children, two additional unnamed females besides the aforementioned named children.

Deed Book 8, page 633 Pulaski County, KY: "This indenture made October 25, 1836 between Aaron Price, of Pulaski County, and James Adams and Elizabeth his wife, of Laurel County. James and Elizabeth to Aaron Price, 100 acres of land being four parts of a certain tract of land containing 130 acres patented by Zacariah Adams, he the said James Adams being one of the lawful heirs of the said ZACARIAH ADAMS, deceased" date of said patent by Zachariah Adams, November 27, 1820.
Deed book 6, pages 128-129, Pulaski County Kentucky: "The indenture made August 11, 1823 between JOHN ADAMS and Betsey, his wife, of Pulaski County of the one part and Moses Adams of the other part. Witnesseth the said JOHN ADAMS as one of the legal reprentatives of ZACHARIAH ADAMS, deceased, for certain consideration paid in hand by the said Moses Adams, hath granted, bargained and sold unto the said Moses Adams, the undivided one-sixth part of a tract of land patented by the said ZACHARIAH ADAMS, deceased, by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, November 27, 1820.

Order Book, Pulaski County Kentucky, 1799-1803, page 438: "November Court, Pulaski County Kentucky, 1803. On motion of Jane Clonch satisfaction is made to this court that she is entitled to 200 acres of land by virtue of she having improved same. Situate on Buck Creek on the line of Samuel Stogsdell." By 1804 she was married to ZACHARIAH ADAMS.
Order book, ibid, 1804-15, page 19: "April court, Pulaski County Kentucky, 1804. On motion of Sarah Stogsdell satisfactory proof is given to the court that she is entitled to 140 acres of land situated on Buck Creek beginning at two post oaks of ZACHARIAH ADAMS corner.

Deed book 8, page 633, Pulaski County Kentucky: "This indenture made October 23, 1836 between Aaron Price of Pulaski County, of the one part, and James Adams and Elizabeth, his wife, of Laurel county, of the other part, James and elizabeth to Aaron Price, one hundred acres of land situate on the waters of Buck creek in Pulaski county, the same being five parts of a larger tract containing 150 acres patented by the Commonwealth to ZACHARIAH ADAMS November 28, 1820, he the said James Adams, being one of the lawful heirs of the said ZACHARIAH ADAMS."
Survey Book No.2m Pulaski County Kentucky page 173: "The last time Jane Adams, widow of ZACHARIAH, appear in Pulaski's records was when one hundred acres were conveyed for her April 14, 1831, out of a tract which had been deeded to Christopher Clonch.
