| I am researching my roots in the Carolina's and Virginia. Most of my family came into Western North Carolina during the influx of settlers in the early 1800's when the government removed the Native Americans from their homes, farms and settlements to finance its war debt and its further expansion.|
I am particularly interested in Rev. Allen A. Ammons and his ministry in Macon, Swain, Cherokee, Graham Counties. Where and how did he live and die?
I found the graves of my GGrandfather Ephraim Jasper Ammons near his father and mother at Maple Springs Baptist Cemetery in Swain County. Now I need to find the final resting place of Jasper's brother Emanuel Ammons, who is my GGGrandfather on my mothers side.
Anyone who is interested in this family in any way, please feel free to call my number or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
