Hello and welcome to my home page!I am very excited at my new adventure of searching my family tree.I have never done it before so it has been very interesting. But there is so much more to be found! My father's family has always been in Bertie County, North Carolina as far as I know. The surnames for his family are: WHITE, JOHNSON, HAWKINS (who changed their name to "Johnson"), BUTLER, JERNIGAN, MIZELL/MIZELLE, TODD, CALE, MIERS/MYERS, JORDAN, AND HOGGARD. My mother's maternal family is from Martin County, North Carolina.Their surnames are MANNING, BLAND, WILLIAMS, and WHITAKER.My mother's paternal family is the one I know nothing about. All that I know is that they were from Pamlico County, NC.The surnames I know are GREEN and JORDAN. If you think you may have information that may be helpful to me, please email me.I will be more than happy to share any info I have with you!I would REALLY love to know my heritage as far as what countries my family ancestors originally were from.If you know please share! Thanks for visiting.Y'all come back, now, ya hear??!! By the way... Under the "Related Links" below are some files of wills.THESE ARE NOT THE COMPLETE WILLS HOWEVER, THEY ARE THE NAMES MENTIONED IN THE WILLS.At least they may give you a clue...
