Selma Haberger, daughter of Mrs. Eliza Haberger of Elgin, Iowa and Clarence Boleyn,son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Boleyn of Elgin were married Friday June 30, 1933 at West Union.At present they are living with his parents.

Rites conducted for former area resident
Clarence Boleyn, 67, a former west Union, Iowa resident, died Thursday August 13, 1981, after a lingering illiness, at Cottenwood, Arizona.Memorial services were held Sunday August 16, in Verde Valley Christian Church at Bridgeport, Arizona.
Clarence was born May 11, 1914, at Elgin, Iowa, the son of Sam and Genevieve Boleyn.He lived most of his life in the area near Elgin, Iowa and West of West Union.He operated a portable grinding mill in the West Union area for several years.
After leaving notheast Iowa, he was employed as a herdsman for dairies in Arizona, New York and Texas.After retiring because of failing health, he and his wife, Sally, made their home in Cottonwood.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Arnold "Shirley" Raatz of Hawkeye, Iowa; Mrs. Robert "Vergil" Bell, Poenix, Arizona, and Mrs. Robert "Colleen" Garrett, Cottonwood, Arizona; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
