Notes for SAMUEL MEYER:
Samuel and Maria's 8 children are mentioned in the 1850 census.In the census, it gave widow Maria Meyer as 39 yrs old and was a farmer.It also mentions she was with child at the time of her husband, Samuel's death.Later, records show the baby was a boy and named Levi Meyer (not our great grandfather).
After the death of Samuel, his brother Martin, was made guardian of Samuel's estate.There seems to have been eleven children when the estate was settled and some of the names are different:1) Jacob, 2) Maria, 3) Anna, 4) Franica, 5) Susanna, 6) Hanah, 7) Samuel, 8) Amos, 9) Elizabeth, 10) Catherine, 11) Sarah.

This information was taken from the Bethel Township, Lebanon Co., Penn 1850 census:
Martin Meyer was born and reared in Lebanon Co., Penn.He chose the free and independent occupation of a farmer, and in course of time became the owner of two farms, containing 160 acres.He remained a resident of this native state until his death at the age of 58 years.His marriage was to Polly Wolfe, who was born, lived and died in the Keystone State.Her death occured at the age of 62 years.
Only ten children's names are mentioned in Martin's will, therefore, the three not mentioned must have been deceased.
