| || Notes for Samuel T. Thompson:|
He was probably less than a year old when the family moved from Kentucky to Brown Twp., Montgomery County, Indiana in 1850. According to census records, he was the last of the children in the family to be born in Kentucky.
On the two family censuses where he is listed, the family was listed as living near Waveland in Brown Township, Montgomery County, Indiana.
According to the 1860 Census, he was listed as age 10 and born in Kentucky.
According to the 1870 Census, he was listed as age 20 and farming and born in Kentucky.
No other records have been located for him after 1870. He is believed to probably have died sometime between 1870 and 1880. If he did die between 1870 and 1880, he either died in Indiana near where his parents lived or possibly in Kansas where three of his brothers ended up settling. There's also a possibility that he may have struck out on his own and lived away from his siblings and parents.
