Last but definitely not the least, I would like to give a very special thanks to Joe Weber. If it wasn't for Joe, I would have never found the information that helped me get started. I will never forget the day back in 1997 when I was just fooling around and put "Couchot" in the Excite search engine and Joe's website came up with the Couchot story of how Jean François Couchot and his wife Anne Benoit together with 9 children, came over from France in 1840 landed in New Orleans and traveled north where they settled in Frenchtown, Darke Co., Ohio. Then how he helped me piece together the Couchot-Benoit family with that of the Couchot-Doan family that would eventually become the Couchot-Morgan family when I married Tosha on November 22, 2000.
