News Herald ---7/3/1986 --Services for Clara Naomi Ryel, 72, of 6301 W. Maple Ave. Geneva, will be at 10am. Saturday at Kennedy-Hunt Funeral Home in Geneva after a lengthy illness.Born Oct. 14,1913, in Willoughby, she had lived in Geneva most of her life.she was an licensed practical nurse at various nursing homes in the Geneva area until she retired in 1984.She was a member of Assembly of God Church of Austingburg, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening.
Survivors are daughters, Mrs Richard (Arlene) Braddock, Ms Janice Taylor, and Ms June Rich, all of Geneva and Ms Joyce Stokes of Ashtabula; son, Ray of North Kingsville; mother, Mrs Lula McClintock of Shady Acres Nursing Home, Geneva; sisters, Mrs Edward (Mary) Grant of Chardon, Mrs Helen Underwood of Fairport, Mrs. Manfred (Dorothea) Klann of Mentor, and Mrs Robert (Ella) Priem of Tompson; brother Robert McClintock of Painesville; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Her husband, Rollie, died in 1964.Her father, Lewis McClintock; brothers Roland, Lewis Jr. and Arnold McClintock; sisters, Ruth Tanner and Grace Cobert; and granddaughter Cynthia Taylor, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Friday at the funeral home.The Rev. Dan Ball of Austinburgh Assembly of God will officiate at services.Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
