Great, Great, Grandmoher Margaret Robson (1832), Great,Grandmother Annie Davidson (1863), Grandma Lisle (1889), Everett Lisle (1911).The great, grandmothers were both born in Cumberland, England.Andrew and his wife, Margaret, came to the US in 1885.Andew's mother, Jane, came with them.Issac and his wife, Annie came in 1887.Grandma and Everett were both born in Nebraska.

Andrew Robson and Margaret Blackburn were married in Cumberland, England in 1862.This picture was taken after 1885in Nebraska.Their daughter, Annie Robson, married Isaac Davidson in 1884 in Wigton, Cumberland at the Registrar's Office.Her sister, Jane Robson, and his cousin, Crosthwaite Davidson were witness of the wedding.

Andrew is the son of Isaac and Annie Davidson.Andrew Robson Davidson and Bessie McCaw were both born in the US and married in 1912 in Nebraska. Several of their children are still living and first cousins of my my mother (now deceased).

Jane Robson came to the US in 1887 with Annie and Isaac Davidson.Jane married Tom Mumberson who was also born in Cumberland and lived in Aspatria.According to several US census records, Tom came in 1888.I don't know if they were married in Nebraska or England.They had two daughters.One who was born before either of them emigrated.I've found no ship's manifest showing a listing for him or the daughter.

This is the original Lisle homestead built by John Belle Lisle.When he died in 1904, his son, Frank took over.Frank married Margaret Davidson in Nebraska in 1910.Along with a neighbor, GG Lisle hauled lumber from Ponca, NE on sleds in the winter and built the house, planted orchards, had several outbuildings, farmed that and other acreage.Three generations of Lisle families have lived there.

When they first came to Nebraska, Andrew and Margaret lived in Dixon and Cedar Counties, near other family members - the Lisles and Robsons.Later they settled in Orchard, Antelope County, NE which is about 75 miles west of Dixon County.They are buried in the Orchard Hill Cemetery, as are Tom and Jane Mumberson.

Will was born in Aspatria, Cumberland in 1870 to one of John Robson's sons.Will lived with his grandparents and appears in the 1871 UK census with John's family.He emigrated to the US with Andrew & Margaret's family and his grandmother, Jane in 1885.He married Alice Ross.Four members of the Ross family married into the Robson family.
