Welcome to the Brigley Family Genealogy Page. It is named as such because my father's tree is much more complete than my mom's! I am Elaine DiSanto (ne. Brigley). I have also added my mom's tree, the Nerone/Bassani line. The Brigley family of Nova Scotia, Canada, was begun in the early 1800's by one John Brigley. His origins are currently unknown; though census records indicate he was from Grand Manan, New Brunswick, Canada, there is nothing to indicate any Brigleys ever lived there. I have earlier, stray, Brigleys, in England and Ireland, where the family is thought to have emigrated from. [I also have another complete tree, beginning with a Paul Brigley, m. 1809 in Dublin, Ireland, but as yet have no way to connect the two. Anyone with any BRIGLEY information, or in need of any, please do not hesitate to contact me!] The Nerones and Bassani's are, obviously, Italian. Any further information there would be appreciated, too!
