|"The house we hope to build is not for my generation but for yours. It is your future that matters. And I hope that when you are my age, you will be able to say as I have been able to say: We lived in freedom. We lived lives that were a statement, not an apology."|

I am researching the Dispoto family from Cammarata, Sicily. Baldassaro Dispoto married Maria Giuseppa Tambuzzo between about 1840 and 1886. They had at least one son Joseph born October 04, 1886. I believe there are other children since many Dispotos'came to the United States in the early 1900s. I'm trying to tie these names together with the known family members. I feel they are either the siblings of, and or children of Baldassaro and Maria.
In addition, I'm researching the Cordasco family of Teora Avellino, Italy. The origins of this city are very ancient. Roman ruins of the 8th and 6th centuries BC have been found. The first historical mention is in 1098 when the name of the place appears in a bull of Pope Urbano II. Unfortunately the earthquake of 1980 destroyed the town completely taking a heavy toll of 157 victims, remembered in a memorial tablet on the façade of the church S. Vito, the only building saved from the earthquake.
Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
