Obituary, Margaret Dougherty
Miss Margaret Dougherty, sister of Daniel Dougherty of Harvey, quietly passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Wm. O'Keefe of Forest City, Monday afternoon, Nov. 21st. All that loving relatives and kind friends could do for her comfort and to prolong her life was done, but her time had come and she answered Death's call.
Margaret Dougherty was born in Ireland, but came to this country when only a little girl. Her mother's death occurred when the families were coming to this country and from that time she endeavored to dill a mother's as well as a sister's place. She was faithful to her trust and lived a life of devotion to father and brothers. Her's was a most unselfish character. She was a good woman with many friends who will fondly cherish her memory. The funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at St. Phillip's Catholic church, Rev. Father Boland officiating.
