|Hi from Colorado....|
Our family is getting smaller.Todd stayed in Seattle when we moved to Colorado.Lisa is living in Illinois. And our baby, Denise, will be married August 4, 2001.
Denise received her degree in Accounting in July 2000, from the University of Southern Colorado. She worked for a few weeks for a temporary accounting agency, then got a full-time job at Science Technology Associates Inc., as their accounts payable accountant. She and Christian Pruett became engaged immediately following her graduation ceremony.
Lisa has been teaching Special Education, which includes behavior disorder, near her home. She lives about an hour's drive north of Chicago. Her special guy is John Goerner, who is co-owner of a tool-and-die company nearby. She has completed requirements for her Special Education license and now is moving toward completing her Master's degree.
Todd...ah yes, Todd....we do know he's successful....we just don't understand what it is that he does. He's in computers...not a programmer...not a repairman...not an operator.Whatever it is that he does, he enjoys it completely. He is one of those lucky people who is able to get paid for doing what he would do for free.Right now, March 18, 2001, he is in England with Kristie. He went with her family and her to bury her brother in their homeland.
Gloria recently moved from the Public Affairs office to the Biology department at the Air Force Academy. She's been working at the Academy for several years now, and for the federal civil service since 1986.Her parents, Janie and Larry Neal, moved to Colorado Springs a couple of years ago.
Dennis retired from the Air Force after 26 1/2 years in 1991.He now is a supervisor of psychotherapy for a county social services department. He also teaches statistics, research methodology and principles of learning for the University of Phoenix several evenings a week. And he works other times as a consulting vocational rehabilitation counselor.
Please feel free to check over our genealogy links. If we have a possible connection, please contact me and we can share information.Genealogy is an enjoyable hobby, especially since the Internet has made so many resources available.Just before the 2000 election, for instance, we found that we share a 17th century ancestor with George W. Bush; our kids are tenth cousins to the President!(The FamilyTreeMaker program figured that out for us.)
