|Hi, I'm Chris Dussault and welcome to my home page.I'm glad you have come to visit.I live in Sudbury Ontario, and my famiy tree is becoming quite extensive, as I now have over 4000 names.I welcome any information or contacts.|
Presently I am concentrating on my 3rd great-grandparents Jean Léger dit Parisien & his wife Lucy McKie.They were married in Hogansburg, New York on July 28, 1846, and some of their descendants came to Northern Ontario.Apparently, the Léger dit Parisien's were Saw Mill owners in New York, and came from the Ile Perrot area in Québec.Recently, we've located them in Bombay, NY in the 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880 census. At this point I have traced them back to the Ile-Perrot area and all the way back to Pierre Leger-Parisien and Marguerite Dandase.
Another area I am concentrating on is my 2nd great-grandparents John Dunn & Ellen McEnery. They married on November 25, 1862 in Brantford, Ontario. He came from Tipperary Ireland, and he had a brother Bryan who came over, and his mother Mary (Whelan) Dunn. His father Jerimiah Dunn must have died in Ireland.Ellen came from County Clare Ireland, and her parents were John & Mary McMahon.I'm looking for descendants of Bryan Dunn, and a connection to Ireland.
Another search is for my great-grandmother Liliane Lafontaine. She was an orphan born in Britany France. She came to Québec before 1893, and married Ernest Martel in or around Rimouski, Québec. They may also have been married in Sault-au-Cochon, Québec.I'm having difficulty finding their marriage.Ernest was the son of Cyrille Martel who was married in Cacouna, Québec.
Lastly, I keep on the look out for Durocher & Gadbois dit Vandandaigue.
Most other branches of my tree are complete.I have found connections to many of these family names: Abraham, Allard, Aloignon, Amyot, Arcan, Archambeault, Ardouin, Audet, Aunois, Aymard, Badeau, Bedard, Belanger, Benard, Benoit, Binet, Ble, Bonville, Bouchard, Boucher, Bougard,Bruyere, Bureau, Capel, Caron, Cerisier, Chalifour, Challe, Chapelier, Charlot, Chartier, Chevalier, Chretien, Clos, Cloutier, Cochon, Convent, Coudray, Coutancineau, Couturier, Crepeau, David, DeBelleau, DeBelheur, De Chavigny, Defayelle, DeGrandmaison, DeLongval, DePoitiers-DuBuisson, DePlanes, DesChamps, Deshayes, Desnoyers, Despres, Duruchie, DeTrepagny, Doribelle, Drolet, Drouin, Dubois, Duchesne, Dunn, Dupont, Dussault, Enard, Ertolle, Faumoleau, Femery, Fleury, Gabouri, Gagnon, Gareman, Gauthier, Genest, Guichaut, Giguere, Godfrey, Grandine, Grenier, Guillard, Guillot, Guyon, Herambourg, Horlays, Houbert, Huguet, Hunault-Deschamps, Inard Provencal, L'Admiraut, LaFontaine, Laframboise, Lamontagne, Langlois, Laverdure, Lavigne, LeBarbier, LeCat, LeClerc, Lefebvre, LeFrancois, LeGrand, Lelievre, Lemaistre, Lemere, Leroy, Lesot, Lespine, Leverdier, Levillain, Litalien, Lorgueil-Arcouet, Léger dit Parisien, Louseau, Lucas, Lucre, Lupia, MacEnirny, Mahon, Maillet, Marcotte, Marsolet, Martel, Martin, Masse, Mathieu, Mauguis, Mezeray, Michelet, Michon, Millet, Millouer dit DuMaine, Miville, Monnachau, Montigny, Morel, Moussette, Nadeau, Naoulet, Nolin, Oliver, Ouvard, Paulet, Parent, Parisien, Perrot, Philippeau, Picard, Pinel, Plamondon, Pion, Poulet, Primeau, Rate, Robin-Boule, Roger, Roussin, Salle, Sedilot, Sohier, St-Pierre, Thibaut, Toupin, Toureau, Toussain, Trembley, Triot, Trotier, Verrier, Vincente, Whelan to mention a few names.
