|The beginning of my genealogy research was not intentional. At a family reunion I was asked to look for information on my husband's great-grandfather in Oklahoma where we live.A new friend who had done research for many years offered to assist. As you guessed, I was hooked.|
I am interested in all my ancestors and their families, but particularly the cousins now living.Making a connection with a second or third cousin or one five times removed is great fun, and often provides new data.If you are a cousin, please contact me.
My brick wall is the place I began my research. My husband's great-grandfather Samuel E. Edens seems to have no parents! At least none I have proven him connected to at this point.I show his parents as John Miller Edens and Mary Blythe, who did have a son by the same name with corresponding birthdate and birthplace, but I have not proven the relationship.
Disclaimer:Please do not take my data for gospel.Iuse much of what I find on the Internet from other researchers, entering it in my family trees and using it as clues. If it's not sourced, I likely cannot prove the data.If you have corrections, please let me know.
