|I am researching the Teagues of Haywood County, North Carolina.James Wilson Teague first appears in the 1840's census, but I don't know where he was before that.He married Martha Adeline Kirkpatrick in 1851. They had 13 children total. I have learned the Teagues arrived in Virgina from England and migrated into Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama and I'm sure other areas as well.I am still currently researching so if you have any information I would greatly appreciate it. |
The Teagues (Descendents of Paul Teaguegreat-grandson of James Wilson Teague)currently hold a Family Reunion each year. This year 2006 the reunion will be held in North Carolina the 1st Saturday in August.I will post the location once I have it. We would love to see you there. If you came come please contact Sheila Fletcher (granddaughter of Paul Teague) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am also researching Brittain Wilson Parton whom married Nancy Ann Allison in 1833 in Haywood County. They had 13 children as well. His father was Benjamin Parton and his mother was Lucy Jennings.I have not found any information on Benjamin Parton.I've come to a dead end.If you have any information on either of these I would greatly appreciate that information as well.
