I am researching the Freeny (sometimes sp Freeney, Freney) family descended from Peter Freeney of Ulster, settled in Delmar area.Some branches early on went to Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma following the Trail of Tears with the Cherokee and Choctaw tribes.Others remained in the Delaware/Maryland area, slowly spreading westward at later dates.
Other families of interest are (on my wife Sara's side of the family) the Schultz's of Pittsburgh, the Dunkin's, the Roberts, and on mother's side of the family, the Anderson's, and on my father's mother's side, the Cook's.
