The research I have done involves the family names of Furlan, Sebat, Urbanc, Pelko, Jeruc mainly.All of the people either lived in Slovenija or had ancestors who lived in Slovenija.There are relatives still living in Slovenija, but a good portion of my ancestors had immigrated to America in the early part of the twentieth century.
