JAMES S. THORN born in 1823 in Alabama or Tennessee, died in 1888 in Texas.First marriage was to ELIZABETH J. JONES in Sumter County, Alabama in 1849.After the death of his first wife, he married ELIZABETH MEADOWS THORN, the widow of his brother in Texas March 17, 1859.
ARTHUR LOTT born around 1788 in Georgia, died January 22 1854 in Texas, and married ELIZABETH WATTS in Mississippi.I believe Arthur came to Mississippi as a young boy with his family and immigrated to the Republic of Texas in 1840.
