| I am researching in Central Texas, the Borho's before the1850's I have researched the McCann's that immigrated to Texas from McNairy County Tennessee and would be glad to share that imnformation. I have just researched the Brinkley's from Shell Pond Florida to Texas but do not have any information from 1850 backward. I am just starting on the Germany connection. Johannes Traugott Altus & Louise Christine Goeldner Altus and 6 childrem immigrated from Bremen, Germany on the Ship Hanover to Galveston, Texas on October 15, 1882.Do not know anything about them before that, think they many have lived in Kittlitz, Anhalt, Dessau & Lebau, Sachsen & Dittmannsdorf, Oberlausitz, Preussen. Johannes is belived to have been born in Hilbersdorf, Oberlausitz, Preussen, Germany May 11, 1942 and Louise born November 6, 1852 in Dittmannsforf, Oberlausitz, Preussen, Germany.
