Whistler's residence was listed as 1658 North, Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the 1934 Pittsfield and Vicinity Directory; their daughter, Miss Ramona R. Whistler listed as "rem to New Haven, Conn."In 1934 he owned a gas station.One of the daughters married a John Galbraith of Syracuse, New York.
