The Steve Goodman Family Home Page

I am researching the Goodman family from North Wales. U.K. The family name appears to have been in Wales since at least 1579 and despite the non Welsh sounding name the family has very prominent and strong links with North Wales. My own Grandfather spoke Welsh and I am very proud of my Welsh Genealogy. I can so far trace my line as far back as 1789 in the Pwhelli area, up to date I have not positively found anyone who is connected but am aware that at least one person has links to the Welsh Goodmans'. It is a puzzle to me that the name is not in a book on Welsh Surnames because I have found hundreds of occurences of the name and they certainly were prominent in Welsh life and culture. Maybe it is because no one else has been actively researching the name in Wales. I would appreciate any contact from anyone who has any information or is researching the Goodman family in North Wales.
