Case concerned the accounts of the firm Pickett & Long. Francis Long apparently was out of the State of S.C., and Jesse Havis was collecting debts due to the firm Pickett & Long because the firm owed Jesse Havis a large sum of money. Mentions a note jointly with Thomas Starke to William Adamson and Nicholas Peay as executors of Jonathan Belton, deceased which dated back to 1805, and another note signed by Charles Pickett personally to Jesse Havis dated 1796. The Court ordered that Jesse Havis pay all sums of money in his hands to the administrators of the estate of Charles Pickett, and that the estate pay Havis the sum due him.
