Dix will officiate at the services.Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.Community Funeral Home, Colby is assisting the family with arrangements.He was born April 16, 1912, in Riplinger, to the late Fred and Anna Dallman.He received his education in Riplinger.He married Mildred Johnson Aug. 31, 1934, in Waukegan, Ill., and she died Oct 23, 1984.He worked for Northern States Power Co. in the Abbotsford district.He retired after 35 years there.He was a member of the First United Church of Christ and a past member of the church council.He was also a member of Colby Lodge 204, F&AM, and the Consistory in Eau Claire.He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Hautamaki of Markesan; four sisters, Ruth Suderlin of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Frieda Wellman of Oshkosh, Lucille Brier of Milwaukee and Dora Schultz of the state of Oregon; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.He was also predeceased by one brother and three sisters.

Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the Trinity Luthen Church here.The Rev. C. Vander Stoep will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 20, 1869, in Melrud, Sweden, and remained there until he reached 17.When he came to this country and settled in Minnesota.After three years, he moved to Phillips, where he married Miss Bertha Wieland on Feb. 17, 1893.They settled on a farm west of Unity in 1894 and remained there until 1944 when they moved to the village.For the past three years they lived with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs Clarence Edblom.Mr. Johnson served on the Trinity Lutheran Church and village boards.Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Alma) Edblom, Unity, Mrs. Carl (Esther) Johnson, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Beda Henry, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Dollman, Colby; and two sons, Milton, Detroit, and Leonard, Owen.Other survivors include two brothers, Carl O. Moore, pastor.Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby.The former Alma Adeline Johnson was born Aug. 1, 1893 at Phillips to Mr. and Mrs. Eric (Bertha Wieland) Johnson.She received her education at the Sunshine School and lived with her parents on a farm west of Unity prior to her marriage to Clarence Edblom March 23, 1913 at Unity.He preceded her in death.They had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1963.The Edbloms had been residents of Unity since 1944 and prior to that farmed near Unity.They retired in 1956.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a life member of its Ladies Aid, a member of the Unity Senior Citizens Club and a past member of the Unity Garden Club.Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Dallmann, Colby; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, four brothers, two sisters and her parents.

June 22, 1967Memorial ObituaryEntered Into Eternal RestThursday, June 15, 1967Heart Attack Fatal to Leonard Johnson, 62Leonard 'Hub' Johnson was stricken with a fatal heart attack late Thursday afternoon while doing some minor repair work on the roof of his home.He had had several severe attacks in recent years which required long periods of hospitalization but of late, since his retirement about a year ago, he had been stronger and he and his wife had recently returned home from a long vacation trip to the west coast.Masonic services with Louis Burhop in charge were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home with interment being made at Riverside cemetery.Serving as pallbearers were; Arthur Lysdahl, Chippewa Falls; Melvin Smith, Eau Claire; Ken Anderson, Abbotsford; Lee Jollivette of Greenwood; and Pete Madsen and Clarence Strohkirch, Owen.Leonard Erick Johnson, 62, was born August 5, 1904 at Unity and received his education in the school system there.On August 14, 1929 he and the former Marian Meach were united in marriage at Unity and then moved to Colby where they resided until he was transferred to Owen in 1937 as an employee of the Northern States Power Company.He was with the company until his retirement a year ago.His passing is mourned by his wife; a son Ronald Johnson Norwalk, California; a daughter Mrs. Ronald (Carol Jean) Quelle, Franklin Park, Ill.; four sisters; Mrs. Esther Johnson Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Alma Edblom, Unity; Mrs. Beatrice Henry, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Mildred Dallman, Colby and six grandchildren. .
