|Since I am very new at these Web Pages, I will keep my information brief for now.My two families branch out all over the United States but they mostly came to Texas from Tennessee, South Carolinia and Kentucky. My parents even share the same grandfather from the Revolutionary War, Issac Thomas. My Dad comes in through his son John Thomas of Dallas, Texas and my Mom is one of the "lost" Thomases since she belongs to the Ellis Issas Thomas branch( a brother of John Thomas).I am also trying to locate any information on my Father's great-grandfather, Young Cleveland Henry, or any combination of these three names. He just suddenly seems to have appeared in Ark. when he was 10 or 12.He is buried in the Fox Cemetary in Kaufman Co Texas and his life in Texas has been very well documented. My fathers other great-grandfather, John Stuart is also a mystery because family legend has it that he was working on a ranch in Van Zant Co., Texas about 1900 and was killed when he fell off his horse. We have yet to find a newspaper story or a grave site for him anywhere. His wife Martha Perdue Stuart was living in 1900 census in Kaufman Co. Texas with her brother, Marcas Perdue, and her two children, Mable Stuart and Charles William Stuart(my great-great grandfather). We also have Jones, Shirley, Terry, Redford, Shaw, Killough, East, White, and Logan in our Family.Any one that could help with any of these families would be welcome to contact me.I''m open to any help and would greatly appreciate it.|
I am more than willing to share all my information with anyone who needs it.Most of what I have gathered on my family has come from my wonderful relatives, some of which I have never met except through their letters. The Genelogist that exist out there are all one of a kind and I truely thank everyone of them for their perserverence in helping all of us amatures and beginers in our quest to learn about our own history.
