Enoch Andrus (b. Abt. 1668, d. 02 Oct 1741)
Notes for Enoch Andrus:
Enoch moved with his father-in-law to NJ in 1698. In 1722 he gave land to
theTrustees of The Presbyterian Church at Trenton for the building of a
Meeting House long called "The Anderson Meeting House".He was one of
the founders of Trenton, NJ. He served as a Constable for Hopewell, NJ in
1709. He was a Justice of The Court of Common Pleas at Burlington. In
1722 the Court ordered that he be licensed to keep a Public House in
Trenton.
