Peter served in the Royal Navy and died accidentally during a 'Coaling Ship
competition when bags of coal were being hoisted on board. A lump of coal fell from a bag and fractured his skull. If his birth date was approx 1892, this would imply he probably died somewhere around 1910. He was still a single man when he died.
