Will of Peter Allee
In the name of God Amen I Peter Allee of Duck Creek Hundred and County of Kent on Delaware Yeoman being very weak of body but of perfect mind and Sound and dispossing memory calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Die have thought proper to make this my Last will and Testament.
First I reccommend my Soul to Allmighty God that gave it being and my body I reccommend to the Earth to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter mentioned.
Item It is my will that all my just debts be paid out of my estate.
Item I give and Bequeath to my dear Brother Presley Allee all my wearing Apparel.
Item I give and Bequeath to my Brothers Abraham Alle John Allee and Presley Allee and to my Sister Mary Alleeall my moveable Estate after my just Debts and Legaceys paid hereafter mentioned also I give unto my Brothers Abraham Allee John Allee Presley Allee and Mary Allee my Sister that Plantation whereon I now Live it being a part of a Tract of Land known by the name of Hillyards Adventure Sittuated in Duck Creek Hundred and County aforesaid and on the North side of -----Branch to be sold and all money to be Equally Divided amongst my three Brothers and Sister Viz: Abraham Allee John Allee Presley Allee and Mary and if either of my Brothers or Sister Should Die without Issue him or her part to be Equally Divided amongst the remaining Brothers or Sister
Item I give unto my Sister Mary Allee my Brown Riding Mare
Item I also give unto Frances Cooper my Little Mare I Call Roan I also give unto the said Frances Cooper the Bed and Furniture I call mine and Eleven Pounds ten Shillings Current money of this Government and also two Cows and Calves I give to the said Frances Cooper.
Item My Will is that my Executors Abraham Allee and John Allee have the use and Benefit of the Plantation whereon I now live while my Brother Presley comes to the age of Twenty one years and lastly I do hereby Nominate Constitute & Appoint Abraham Allee & John Allee my whole & sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and disannuling all other will or Wills heretofore by me made In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and fixed Seal this Seventeenth day of May Anno Domini 1773
