| james pym,came to this country 1882,born 1864 at high Wycombe Buckinghamshire England.He married Aderline Mattocks daughter of Joe Mattocks and Susan Trott .She was born Martock somerset 1866 died 1955.They reared seven children ,and have 53 grandchilden Iknow Pym being the only son to a widowed mother with sisters,left home to take the pressure of his mother trying to support them.He arrived in Cairns on ship ,then hitchiked all the way down to Sydney.He never saw his family again ,but did correspond with his sister Blenda Istill have letters written by Blenda.Iam looking for any information on the Pym, Mattock ,or Trott families.also my married name being Herington, my maiden name being Daunt,this family History ,connected to me has already been researched.Col | |
