William Chambers (b. 1767, d. September 12, 1844)
Notes for William Chambers:
William, according to several accounts, was an adventurer, went NW and engaged in the Indian Wars. He had several narrow escapes, but settled in the middle west. He had several children as they are listed on the 1810 Haywood Coutny census. The census listed 9; 5 boys and 4 girls along wiht his wife and himself. His wife's name has not been found as yet. He had made several land transactions and is listed as an heir of James on the estate records then disappears sometime between 1810 and 1820. He and his family settled in Missouri.
