On January 5, 2002 our family lost a beloved and cherished family member, Edith Hicks. She was my first cousin once removed but to me she was Ms. Edith.... my friend. What a joy it was to have known her. She was our family historian long before I was even thought about. She had so much great information and wonderful pictures that she shared with me and in turn many in our family. We had the most enjoyable visits and she would share wonderful family stories with me.I am forever grateful to her and I am so blessed to have had time with her.I know she is in a better place now but I must say that she is sorely missed. I feel she was a role model and inspiration to our family I want to dedicate in her memory any and all research I have done on our Taylor Family. We are all richer for having known this wonderful lady. You just could not ask for a better mother, grandmother, friend, neighbor, and family member.
