The Heusi surname is from Switzerland.I have Casper Heusi b: in 1846 in Switzerland, d: 6 August 1907 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.He married Verna (Verema) Stamm 1870 in Schleitheim, Schaufhausen, Switzerland.The came to America in 1882.They had 11 children but I only have the names Jacob, Annie, Barbara, Samuel, Mary, Rose and Lydia.Jacob is my line.He was born 30 August 1871 in Schleitheim, Schaufhausen, Switzerland, and died 20 March 1928 in White Cloud, Doniphan, KS.He married Ida Schock 5 June 1901 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, daughter of Michael and Henrietta Schock.Their children were Lillian Verna (my grandmother), Helen, Baby (died as infant), Marguerite Rose, Pauline, and Alfred Wayne.
