Florida wreck kills Covington traveler
A Covington man, on vacation with his family, died of injuries sustained in an auto accident near his brother's home in Palm Beach
(note correction - should be Palm Harbor), Fla.Edwin Dale Edwards, 38, of 1815 Holman St., was in an auto with his brother, Donald, when the two-car accident occurred Saturday on Highway 19.
Edwards, owner and operator of Graphic Specialists in Covington, was pinned in the auto for about an hour. He died early Sunday at Tarpon Springs Hospital, Florida. His brother is listed in serious condition with a broken neck at Mease Hospital.
Other details of the wreck were not available.
Edwards was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Genie; sons, Gary, Michael, and Robert, all at home; mother, Hilma Edwards, at home; sister, Mrs Judy Lee, Florence; brother, Lonnie, Muskegon, Mich; Daniel, Mainville, Ohio.
Services 10 a.m. Friday, Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia; visitation, 4-9 p.m. Thursday; burial, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
