Mary Stohr (b. February 1847, d. date unknown)
Notes for Mary Stohr:
In her later years, she lived with her daughter, Mathilda & Louis Jounglux in New Bedford.
Vic used to talk about working with his mother in the kitchen. She had a big family and baked lots of pies at a time, made her own noodles;Vic would work with her, rolling noodles, peeling apples, etc.It was much work raising the family -- that is why she wanted them to get out to earn some wages early.
She liked to go out berrying, etc.
The Statue of Liberty was being constructed in Paris by sculptor Bertoulini:it may be that the family saw the statue in Paris, then again in the US as it was transported about the same time as their immigration.
