Guy Elery Coffin (b. July 15, 1889, d. September 18, 1976)

I remember my grandfather as the last of the outdoorsmen. He loved to fish and hunt and often fed his family with his catch. He traded stock for a living and I remember riding with him in his truck visiting farmers in the area to find out what livestock they needed. We often went to the sale barn where he bought cattle. He was a Cincinnati Reds fan and he took me to my first Reds baseball game at old Crosley Field.
