Obituary:Death follows short illness--Lewis Coffin, 73, died at his home in Huntsville last Wednesday evening following a two days illness.
The deceased was widely known, having taught in the county schools a number of years.He also served one term as trustee of West River Township.
He is survived by the widow, one son Guy, four grandchildren, one brother, John Coffin of New Point, MO., and a half brother, Ed Coffin of this city.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Buena Vista church.Burial was made in the cemetery nearby.
