Hewitt who was named in the 1831 legal document.

1833-moved to Randolph Co. IN.Harrison's obit. says moved in 1833; Nancy b. 1832 VA, Mary Ann b. 1834 IN.
1849-Randolph Co. IN-court petition say he d. May 1849, wife's name-Rebecca Hill.
Benjamin and Rebecca built a large farmhouse, now one of the oldest houses in Randolph County, on the Huntsville Road.There are broken tombstones lying in a front pasture and my father, Clyde Hunt, was told that Benjamin and Rebecca were buried there.However, there is also a tombstone bearing their names at Buena Vista Cemetery so their bodies may have been moved.

The petition of Harrison Hill, Elizabeth Irvin (formerly Hill), Lafayette Irvin, her husband, Madison Hill, Nancy Hunt (formerly Hill), John F. Hunt, her husband, Mary Ann Ross (formerly Hill), Dorsey Ross, her husband, adults, and Letitia Hill and Benjamin F. Hill, the last two being minors and under the age of 21 years and appear by Willis C. Wilmore their guardian.Who are all being and legal representatives of Benjamin Hill, deceased, who died intestate at said Co. of Randolph, aforesaid, also Rebecca Hill, who is the widow of said Benjamin Hill deceased, respectfully shew that to your honors that the said Benjamin Hill died intestate on about theday of May AD 1849, that the said Benjamin Hill in his lifetime was seized, and possessed in fee simple of the following ascribed lands to wit. the south west quarter of Section 6 in Twp 19, north of range 14 east.....estimated to contain 160 acres.
