Jacob Fouts (b. August 1761, d. July 15, 1835)Jacob Fouts (son of Michael Jacob Fouts and Katarina Varner) was born August 1761 in Frederick County (now Carroll) Co. Maryland, and died July 15, 1835 in Wayne County, Indiana.He married Eleanor Malinda Waymire on Abt. 1780 in Guilford (now Randolph Co.) North Carolina, daughter of John Rudolph Weymyer and Voltine Lough.

Not in Yount-Cemetery records of Wayne Co. IN-he may have been buried at Whitewater Cemetery.That cemetery was moved and hundreds of stones lost.
He may have been in Germantown, OH in 1805.According to Young's History of Wayne Co. IN early settlement was made in 1806 by Jesse Davenport and Jacob Fouts, etc. (p. 32).They settled 4 or 5 miles south east of Richmond.
Names of Friends in Whitewater MM, Wayne Co. IN at the opening of the first MM in 1807 included Jacob Fouts.
Audrey Woodruff says he d. 1801 and Eleanor d. 1835 in Wayne Co. IN.
